New Year...new plans

Well I spent Thanksgiving and just recently Christmas with Chris in Arizona. His brother Matt drove out from LA for a couple days before he flew on to Colorado to be with their mom and sister. I enjoyed getting to know him better. Chris and I baked up a storm for a couple days to give goodies away as gifts to his family this year. I had serious anxiety about his family not thinking much of my baking skills but everything turned out fine to my relief. I really enjoyed Christmas with the Frieberg's even though I couldn't help miss my own family over the Holidays.

My family is really looking forward to Chris coming out here today though! They absolutely can't wait to get to spend time with him. He's going to be bunking in with Peter for a couple nights.

So with a new year comes many new plans and transitions for me that I'm praying continuously for. I decided to withdraw from CBU this semester to attend flight attendant school in Feb and I'll continue to work on my remaining general ed courses at a cheaper public university. I received my confirmation notice for flight attendant school this morning and a phone consultation that went very well so I'm incredibly excited to jump start the career I've planned on since I was 13. My prayers are also centered around my plans to move to Arizona as soon as I can secure a job. I'm not sure what all the Lord has planned for me in 2009 but as always I can only trust Him to guide me by opening and closing doors, to provide for my basic needs, to strengthen my heart, and to get the glory for all the good He brings about in my life. Happy New Year!
