Child Prodigy

My brother found this video online of a 17 month little girl who taught herself to read! Her mom actually first noticed it when she was 13 months old!!! My Dr. Voddie Baucham Commercial

At Cal Baptist last week we celebrated "Seek Week". The guest speaker was Voddie Baucham. I am always so blessed by his wisdom so I was excited that he was the featured speaker. The theme was Biblical manhood and Biblical womanhood. If the speaker had been anyone else I probably would have groaned thinking, "oh great, another Christian school lecture on relationships...the typical sex and purity sermon...oh wait, didn't we already have that on Valentine's day? " I would have feared Seek Week might leave me still hungry for Biblical meat. Not that I can't feed myself, or that my church family can't fulfill that discipling need, but nevertheless you hope you can expect a speaker to inspire or enlighten you.



Aside from Dr. Stokes, I would say Dr. Baucham gave one of the best lessons on Biblical manhood and Biblical womanhood. If you're interested check out CBU's chapel podcast for March 5th, 6th, and 7th.
